Westmoreland Walks, Inc. Taking Steps Against Breast Cancer
The walk will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm Walkers may choose to participate in teams or individually. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and also provide an opportunity for Westmoreland County women who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer to enjoy a full day of spa services.

Pennsylvania has the fourth highest breast cancer rate in the nation?
Over 330 Women in Westmoreland County are diagnosed with breast cancer each year?
MAIL-IN REGISTRATION – Deadline Friday, September 18, 2009 - $25.00 To have a registration form mailed to you, call 724-382-4148. You will also be able to download and print a form here soon! Once you have registered, your Registration Packets can be picked up at the upper level of JC Penney’s in Westmoreland Mall on Friday, September 26th from 5pm to 8pm or on Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 5pm or at the Registration Tent on the day of the event. Registration packets include your T-shirt and other materials for use at the walk.

WALK-IN REGISTRATION – Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th, 2009 - $25.00 Stop by the upper level of JC Penney’s in Westmoreland Mall and register with us on Friday, September 26th from 5pm to 8pm or Saturday, September 27th from 10am and 5pm and you will leave with your Registration packet in hand!
EVENT DAY REGISTRATION – Saturday, October 3, 2009 - $30.00 You are still able to register with us at the Registration Tent on Event Day! The fee is $30 and you will receive your materials at the time of registration. Availability of t-shirts may be limited.
On event day, parking will be available at Twin Lakes County Park – a lot will be reserved for Westmoreland Walks participants next to the East Parking Area (look for the pink balloons!)
All Breast Cancer Survivors will be designated by a pink t-shirt and will be honored at the “Celebration of Life” activities preceding the walk.
